We rely on reputable platforms and service providers that offer data protection terms consistent with industry standards. Please note that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party service providers with whom you may interact directly or indirectly while using our Services.

4. DO WE USE COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES?
In Short: We and certain third-party platforms may use cookies and other tracking technologies to help operate, secure, and improve our Services.
Our website is hosted on the Squarespace platform, which may use essential cookies and similar technologies to enable core functionality, maintain security, manage user sessions, and support performance. These cookies are placed automatically when you visit our site. For more information, please see Squarespace’s Cookie Policy.
Additional third-party tools — such as Google Analytics and Calendly — may also place cookies or similar tracking technologies when integrated into our Services. These tools may help us understand how users interact with the site, support scheduling functionality, or measure site performance. We do not directly control or configure these technologies, but we aim to work with platforms that are transparent about their practices. You can learn more by reviewing Google’s Cookie Policy and Calendly’s Privacy Policy.
We may work with third-party platforms to advertise our Services, such as through search engine results or sponsored listings. At this time, we do not use third-party tracking technologies (like ad pixels or remarketing tags) on our Services for targeted advertising. If this changes in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly and provide relevant opt-out options.
To the extent that these technologies are considered a “sale” or “sharing” under applicable U.S. state privacy laws (including for targeted advertising), you may opt out by following the instructions in the section Do United States Residents Have Specific Privacy Rights?.
Specific information about how we use these technologies — and how you can manage or refuse certain cookies — is provided in our Cookie Notice: Cookie Policy.

5. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?
In Short: We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Notice, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
We will retain your personal information only for as long as it is needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Notice — such as providing services, complying with our legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements. In general, this means we will not retain personal information for longer than 3 to 5 years, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law (such as for tax, accounting, or regulatory compliance).
When we no longer have an ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will delete or anonymize it. If deletion is not immediately possible — for example, because the information is stored in backup archives — we will securely store your data and isolate it from further processing until deletion becomes possible.
6. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?
In Short: We aim to protect your personal information through a combination of physical, organizational, and technical security measures.
We have implemented appropriate and reasonable safeguards designed to protect the security of the personal information we process. These measures include technical protections (such as access controls and encrypted connections provided by the platforms we use) and physical safeguards (such as locked file storage and restricted access to sensitive documents).
However, despite our efforts, no method of electronic transmission or physical storage can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As such, we cannot promise or guarantee that unauthorized third parties will not be able to bypass our safeguards and improperly access, steal, or alter your information.

7. DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?
In Short: We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age.
We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or sell personal information from anyone under the age of 18. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 years old, or that you are the parent or guardian of a minor and consent to their use of the Services. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a user under 18, we will take reasonable steps to delete such data from our records. If you become aware of any data we may have collected from a child under the age of 18, please email us at sfbayarea@cmplumbingservices.com.
8. WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?
In Short: Your rights may vary depending on your location, but generally you may have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information, and to control how it is used for marketing or consent-based processing.
Withdrawing your consent:
If we rely on your consent to process your personal information — whether express or implied, depending on applicable law — you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. You can do so by contacting us using the details provided in the section HOW CAN YOU CONTACT US ABOUT THIS NOTICE? below.
Please note that withdrawing consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. When permitted by law, it may also not affect processing based on legal grounds other than consent.
Opting out of marketing and promotional communications:
You can unsubscribe from our marketing and promotional emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in those emails or by contacting us using the details in the section HOW CAN YOU CONTACT US ABOUT THIS NOTICE?. We may still send you non-marketing communications that are necessary for your use of our Services — such as appointment confirmations, invoices, receipts, service updates, or follow-ups related to outstanding payments or requests.
We do not use text messaging for marketing or promotional purposes. If you receive text messages from us, they will be limited to essential, service-related communication — such as appointment confirmations or updates about ongoing work. You cannot opt out of these messages without affecting your ability to receive important service information.
Cookies and similar technologies:
Our website and the third-party platforms we use — such as Squarespace, Google Analytics, and Calendly — may use cookies or similar technologies to support functionality, analytics, or scheduling. Most web browsers accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can usually set your browser to remove or reject cookies. Please note that doing so may affect the availability or functionality of some parts of the Services. For more details, please see our Cookie Notice: Cookie Policy.
If you have questions or comments about your privacy rights, you may email us at sfbayarea@cmplumbingservices.com.
9. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK AND GLOBAL PRIVACY CONTROL (GPC)
Some web browsers and mobile devices include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") setting or a Global Privacy Control ("GPC") signal to let you express your privacy preferences.
At this time, our Services do not respond to DNT signals. However, we do recognize and honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where legally required and technically feasible, in accordance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA).
If our practices change in the future, we will update this Privacy Notice accordingly.
